<p>Victorville has made progress, but there is still work to do in addressing homelessness in our community. We need a balanced approach that treats people with dignity while recognizing the very real impact homelessness can have on residents, businesses, parks, and public spaces. I support strengthening partnerships with service providers, connecting individuals with appropriate housing, mental health, substance use, and employment resources, and making sure available programs produce measurable results. At the same time, our residents deserve clean, safe, and accessible neighborhoods and public spaces. Compassion and accountability can exist together.</p>

<p>We need practical solutions that connect unhoused individuals with services while protecting the safety, cleanliness, and quality of life of our neighborhoods.</p>

<h2>Adressing Homelessness</h2>

<p>Victorville families are already paying enough. I will oppose new increases to city controlled utility and service charges, including trash rates, during my time on the City Council.</p>

<p>Every Victorville resident deserves safe neighborhoods and reliable roads. I will support public safety and prioritize practical improvements to the streets and infrastructure our community depends on.</p>
