<p>The cost of everyday life continues to rise, and local government should not add unnecessary financial pressure to working families, seniors, and residents living on fixed incomes. As your councilmember, I will oppose new increases to city controlled utility and service charges, including trash rates, and push the City to find responsible ways to manage costs before asking residents to pay more. Every dollar matters, and I believe the City should be accountable for how it spends yours.</p>
